Valley Special

'Winter Wonderland' in Carnation

The Carnation Chamber of Commerce will be holding its annual Christmas in Carnation on Dec. 5 with a "Winter Wonderland" theme. The event will begin at noon with pictures with Santa until 4 p.m. and craft bazaar until 6 p.m.

There will be a parade at 4:30 p.m. with Carnation royalty and anyone else (kids, too) who would like to enter with lighted/decorated cars, wagons, sleds, or whatever.

There will be a Christmas tree lighting, free hot chocolate, s'mores, cider, roasted chestnuts, and other activities for kids and adults alike. The community residences will have a contest for the best holiday decorated home.

For further information, or a craft bazaar/parade form, call Georgia White-Romaine at Rosebud's at 425-333-6895, or Kathy Castello at 333-4249. Anyone with a special talent (singing, storytelling, etc.) that they would like to perform for the holiday event should call Becky Nixon at 425-844-9223.
