Recently, our family has been blessed by many strangers and their kindness, including a beautiful couple sitting in a restaurant eating dinner.

Driver thankful for the heroes who offered her help
On Sunday, Dec. 6, I was driving along Highway 202 at about 9 a.m. when I hit a patch of black ice and spun around a couple of times. I ended up off the road down the bank.
Ordinance vote follows party lines
On Dec. 14, the full King County Council took an astonishing vote that split right down party lines. The astonishment was in the subject of the ordinance.

Given the opportunity, people really want to help others
