Eagle watchers offer free info

The Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest will station volunteer Eagle Watchers along Highway 20 (North Cascades Highway) on the Upper Skagit River to help educate the public while they watch eagles in all sorts of activities.

Eagle Watchers will offer free information, spotting scopes for viewing, up-to-date eagle count numbers, answer questions, and assist in locating and watching bald eagles. Eagle enthusiasts can find Eagle Watchers on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9am-4pm, through Feb. 21 at Howard Miller Steelhead Park, Washington Eddy, and Milepost 100. Watch for yellow signs on the river side of the North Cascades Highway.
