Social Concerns Council plans meeting
"Problems/Concerns of Elderly Persons in the Community" will be the subject of the regular monthly meeting (second Tuesday) of Eastside Interfaith Social Concerns Council (EISCC) on Tuesday, Jan. 13, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel Lounge (Room 315, former sanctuary) at First Presbyterian Church, 1717 Bellevue Way NE, Bellevue. Speakers will be Shelley Noble, Multi-Service Center, and Rowena Rye, Program Manager, Senior Services. Membership is voluntary, open to congregations and associated membership to social agencies. Current task forces include homelessness, employment, and Project Home-Made Soups. At regular monthly meetings beverages are available for persons who wish to bring a sack lunch.
