Inglemoor student to attend leadership conference

Ben Krahenbuhl

  Ben Krahenbuhl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth J. Krahenbuhl of Redmond, Washington, has been selected to attend the National Young Leaders Conference from January 27 to February 1st, 1998 in Washington D.C. This is a unique leadership development program for high school students who have demonstrated leadership and scholastic merit. Ben will be among 350 outstanding National Scholars attending the conference from across America.
  
   Ben is a senior at Inglemoor High School, with an emphasis in mathematics. He also plays the trumpet with the Inglemoor Marching Band and will be going to New Orleans with them this year. He is a member of the track team and last year received awards at the Davis Invitational in the 100m, 200m and the 4x100m events, as well as in District competition. He received his Eagle Scout Rank in 1994 and has received additional silver and gold palm awards. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and attends the Woodinville III Ward.
  
   The theme of the National Young Leaders Conference is The Leaders of Tomorrow Meeting the Leaders of Today. Throughout the six-day conference, Ben will interact with key leaders and newsmakers from three branches of government, the media and the diplomatic corps.
