Diamond Awards winners announced

Camille DeSantis, (center) newsprint and special projects manager at The Seattle Times' North Creek facility, holds the Commuter Challenge Diamond Award her organization earned for its outstanding "Ridesharing" program. DeSantis is flanked by Gordon Burch, (l.) senior planner for the City of Bothell and Bothell Mayor Debbie Treen. Diamond Awards were presented to 13 King County work sites and three employee transportation coordinators for their efforts in 1997 to reduce commute trips on the region's roadways by encouraging employees not to drive alone to work.
