The Bear Creek School kicks off capital campaign for new school

On Tuesday, Jan. 13, The Bear Creek School (TBCS), a K-12 Christian liberal arts school, will kick off the public phase of a planned three-year capital campaign to raise funds to build a new school campus in the Novelty Hill area of Redmond. The campaign will go public with $2.5 million pledged from parents during the campaign's leadership phase toward a $4.5 million goal for the construction of the school's 92,000 square foot facility on a 14-acre lot on Novelty Hill. Total project is estimated at $11 million.
TBCS received final approval of their Conditional Use Permit (CUP) from King County in December 1997. Building plans will be submitted to the County in February 1998. TBCS will break ground for its new facility this summer. Target opening date for the school is Spring/Summer 1999.
