Keeney's makes donations to area schools
The locally owned Keeney's Office Plus will donate over $15,000 to area schools as a result of the company's School Bucks Program. Northshore School District will receive a total of $6,415 with $842 going to Woodinville High School, $840 to Canyon Park Junior High, $738 to Maywood Hills and $583 to Bothell High School. The program offered a 10 percent return to the schools for back-to-school purchases at Keeney's. Vouchers were provided to area schools to be presented at the time of purchase for the tracking of donations. Individual schools are free to determine how best to utilize the funds. The money will be awarded Feb. 3 at 6 p.m. at an open house at the Woodinville Keeney's Office Plus store, 17622 140th Ave.
