Holiday program at multi-service centers a great success

Looking back over this year's holiday season, the Multi-Service Centers of North and East King County is pleased to report that our 1997 holiday program was one of the best in the agency's history. Our Northshore center in Bothell received enough children's gifts and holiday foods to provide 319 families with food and 615 children with gifts. Overall the agency was able to supply holiday foods to 1,588 families and 2,734 children with gifts through the Northshore center and our other four centers, located in Bellevue, Carnation, Kirkland and Redmond.

Our success this year was due largely to the overwhelming generosity of all the individuals, businesses, churches and other organizations that donated food, gifts and cash to help support this annual program. Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to everyone who gave this holiday season, including our dedicated volunteers who spent many long hours at our centers helping with every facet of our holiday program.
