Woodinville's seniors who are interested in senior programs and activities are encouraged to attend the Woodinville Senior Get Together and Open House, Thursday, January 14, from 10:30 a.m. until noon, at the Sammamish Valley Grange. A free continental breakfast will be served.

Sponsored by the new Woodinville Senior Program of the Northshore Senior Center, seniors are encouraged to attend to learn about the programs and services offered in Woodinville, as well as other areas.

"We would also like to know what the seniors in Woodinville would like for acitivities, programs, education, and information. We want to form the Woodinville extension of the Northshore Senior Center to meet the needs and desires of the Woodinville senior population," said Carol Barker, chair of the Woodinville program. The plan calls for a relationship with the new Cascade Community College and Bothell-UW campus for senior educational programs.
