Benefit concert series

Judy Filibeck, choral director at Inglemoor High School, has announced a concert series to benefit the Northshore Performing Arts Center Foundation (NPACF), an organization created to help build a world-class performing arts center in the Northshore community.

The first concert, "Jazz It Up," is set for Jan. 21 and will feature music by two award-winning groups: the University of Washington Studio I Jazz Ensemble and the Inglemoor High vocal jazz choir, ENCORE. The concert is at 7:30 at Northshore Baptist Church.

Other concerts in the series include: "An Evening of Chamber Music," featuring the cream of Northshore's vocal talent on March 26; and the musical "Crazy For You" on May 30 in the Si Siverson Theater at Inglemoor High School.

Tickets for the entire series are $30; individual performances are $15 per ticket. For the jazz night only, students can buy tickets at the door for $5. All proceeds will benefit the Northshore Performing Arts Center Foundation. Call 425-489-6522 for more information.
