Bothell hosts Community Involvement Fair

   All Bothell area residents are invited to attend the third annual Community Involvement Fair to be held on Thursday, Feb. 4 from 7 to 9 p.m., in the Bothell City Council Chambers, 18305 - 101st Ave. NE, Bothell.

   The fair is an informal open house designed to highlight volunteer opportunities on the city's seven boards and commissions. Interested citizens are urged to come and learn how they can participate in city government. Applications for Board or Commission membership are being accepted at City Hallthrough Friday, February 12.

   The City Council will conduct interviews for the Board and Commission positions on Monday, March 8, 1999, with appointment scheduled for Monday, March 15. Full-term positions will begin on April 1, 1999.

Kenmore Heritage Society meeting

   The next meeting of the Kenmore Heritage Society will be held on Wednesday, January 20, at 7 p.m. at the Northlake Lutheran Church located at 6620 NE 185th St. Anyone interested in more information about this new organization is encouraged to call Tom Traeger at 488-2818 or Priscilla Droge at 486-4202.
