Following the completion of the 1998 horse show season as Reserve High Point English Rider in her age group, Woodinville resident Trenne Storaasli, a 7th grader at Bellevue Christian School, was recently recognized at the annual banquet of the Hollywood Hill Saddle Club. She was also awarded 1998 High Point Equitation Champion by the Windy Tides Equestrian Association.

Trenne qualified as a member of the Evergreen Zone Challenge Team. She rides in 4H shows as a member of the City Slickers 4H Club and does volunteer work at Little Bit Theurapeutic Riding Center in Woodinville.

Trenne trained with Craig and Rita Stevens at the National School of Academic Equitation in Snohomish and with Heidi Snyder at Hillcrest Stables on Hollywood Hill. She also competed last summer at the Evergreen Classic in Redmond. Her horse, Ziggy, is stabled at the Storaasli home on Hollywood Hill.
