Pancake breakfast to benefit preschool

   The third annual pancake breakfast/silent auction, benefiting Cottage Lake Presbyterian Preschool, will be held Saturday, Jan. 30 from 8:30-11:30 a.m., at the church's Fellowship Hall, 18350 Woodinville-Duvall Place. Cost of the breakfast is $4 per adult and $3 per child. There is no charge for those attending the auction only. A silent auction will run at the same time as the breakfast. A raffle will also be held for a Beanie Baby Bears basket and a handmade afghan.

Green Funk to benefit earth

   Bothell High Earth Club and YMCA Earth Service Corps will present Green Funk, a benefit concert for the Earth, April 9. Interested bands may send or drop off a demo of their music by Jan. 31 to Lily Bach, Northshore YMCA, 11811 NE 195th St., Bothell, WA 98011. Call 425-485-9797, ext. 202.

Dave Irish to perform

   Contemporary Christian vocalist Dave Irish will participate in worship services at Washington Cathedral on Jan. 30 at 6 p.m. and Jan. 31 at 8:45, 10:15, and 11:45 a.m.

Evergreen Community Health Care unveils plans

   The public is invited to a Feb. 2 meeting to comment on Evergreen Community Health Care's plans to meet the health care challenges of the 21st century from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Evergreen Hospital Medical Center Auditorium. For information, call (425) 899-1880.
