Learn discipline techniques
How can I deal with grocery store tantrums? Will I ever get my child to take out the garbage when she's supposed to? How can I have a happier, fun-filled relationship with my children? To learn more effective and positive discipline techniques, Children's Services of Sno-Valley is offering Strengthening Families parenting class in Duvall. The curriculum is based on strengthening and enhancing the parent-child relationship and examining the roles culture and ethnicity plays in our parenting approaches. This free 8-week class meets Thursdays from 6:30-8:30 p.m., beginning Feb. 4. The class will be held in the former Mercantile Building in Duvall, and free childcare is provided.
