Silent auction to benefit school's education fund

   A benefit auction sponsored by Cottage Lake Elementary PTA is planned for Friday, March 12, at Timbercrest Junior High. The annual event is an evening of music, dancing, entertainment, and fun for the whole family. Proceeds from the silent auction benefit the newly-created Curriculum Enhancement Fund. The auction committee seeks donations from local businesses to support this fund, which will be used to enhance current programs and facilities at Cottage Lake Elementary. Juice and Jammies

   Woodinville's Barnes & Noble's Juice and Jammies Night will celebrate St. Patrick's Day, March 17, at 7 p.m., with Tomie DePaolo reading Jamie O'Rourke. For details, call the store at (425) 453-7958.

Auction/dinner

   Wooden Cross Lutheran Church will host a silent auction and dinner to benefit Habitat for Humanity on March 13 at 6 p.m. Cost for the baked potato dinner is $3 per person or $10 for a family. Call 788-3626 for details.
