Local Girl Scouts in the community will "Take It to the Top" in this year's cookie sale. The mountaineering theme stresses the importance of leadership and teamwork.
Sale dates run through March 14. Scouts will be selling at several locations including Family Grocer, Seafirst Bank, and Video Factory in Duvall, and the QFC and Bank in Carnation.
Eight varieties of cookies include Lemon Drops, Samoas, Thin Mints, Do-Si-Do's, Tagalongs, Striped Chocolate Chips, Trefoils, and Apple Cinnamon. The price is $3 per box. Proceeds raised during the cookie sale provide program opportunities, outdoor education, special events, and financial assistance for over 17,000 girls in Northwest Washington.
