Self-employed people need consideration

Self-employed individuals rely upon you, their customer, for their income. It has always been this way; however, in the Woodinville area, it seems to be problematic.

We have a calendar and daily planner like most of us do; most businesses operate this way. When scheduled work is cancelled on a very short notice, and sometimes without any notice at all, that is lost income and time for us.

Problems arise and cancellations are sometimes unavoidable, but self-employed people make their living by keeping their schedules. Can people please realize that we are people too, just like you, who rely upon steady income to support ourselves and families?

You require references, honest and reliable service people, but should we be asking the same of you? We all have busy schedules these days, including those of us who are self-employed.

Don't run our lives this way. We need to run "our" lives, too, and keep our appointments just like you. We plan our schedules around you. Can you please understand that your cancelling is a loss of time and money. How are we to survive?
