Bothell Parks & Rec. programs for March

   Family Kite Fly will be held Sat., March 20, 10 a.m.-noon, at Northcreek Sportsfield #2 (11800 North Creek Pkwy. S., Bothell). Learn how to make a kite or fly one of your own. Kite materials are guaranteed only for those who pre-register. Cost is $5/kite.

   Preschool: The city of Bothell is now accepting registration for its preschool program, which will begin new sessions in September. The preschool is for ages 2-1/2 to 5.

   Tot's Club offers opportunities for toddlers (ages 1-3) and their parents to meet, play, and share together. The group will go to the indoor gym at Green Lake on March 18; the Everett Children's Museum on March 20; and the All Fool's Parade in Woodinville on March 27.

   First Aid Class will be offered on Thursday, March 18, from 7-10 p.m. at the Canyon Park Firehouse (corner of 217th & Bothell-Everett Hwy.). This is L&I approved and a two-year certification card will be issued upon completion. Cost is $20. Pre-registration is required.

   Self-Defense Classes: Women of all ages are invited to a new session on Thursday, March 18, 7-8 p.m. at Skyview Jr. High (21404 35th Ave. SE, Bothell). Learn basic self-defense skills, as well as how to be pro-active in your personal safety. Cost is $49 for the 4-week session; $25 for a second family member. Pre-registration is required.

   Nifty Gifty Album Night: Create an easy gift album. An instructor will assist you in putting together an album-in-a-night on Thurs., April 1, 6-9 p.m. at the Adult Day Center (9929 NE 180th St., Bothell). Bring your photo project organized by subject or theme. Pre-registration is required by March 24. Fee is $10 with a supply fee of $35, payable to instructor the night of the class. Pens and tools will be available to use during the class. Plan to bring 25-40 photos ready to install.
