Book fair, public tour at Carnation Farm

Nestlé's 3rd Annual Community Book Fair & Public Tour is scheduled for Friday, March 19, from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., and Saturday, March 20, 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at the Nestlé Regional Training Center on Carnation Farm Road.

Camp Book Fair, part of Nestlé's Very Best Volunteers "Adopt-A-School" partnership with the Riverview School District, will allow the public to select from a variety of Scholastic and adult and youth titles from more than 150 publishers. Used books will also be available.

The public will have an opportunity to a free, self-guided tour of the state-of-the-art dairy, the renowned gardens, and the historic Friskies' Kennels, normally not open to the public at this time of year. A rare added attraction for those in attendance will be a special viewing of the Nestlé Museum.

Anyone with used books to donate may drop them off at the Riverview Multi-Age Site or the Nestle Regional Training Center by Friday, March 12. All the proceeds from the event will benefit the Riverview Multi-Age elementary program. For more information, call 425-788-1511.
