Valley Special

Dinner, Dance, Auction at Cedarcrest

Riverview Helping Youth to Have Music (RHYTHM) is hosting its first annual special event Dinner Dance & Auction, featuring Larry Prig and the Resurrected Swing Band, on Friday, March 26, at Cedarcrest High School in the Commons.

A variety of items will be auctioned off, including tools, furniture, a color TV, beauty items, services, gift certificates, and apparel, to name a few. RHYTHM is a community organization with the purpose of augmenting the music programs of the Riverview School District. This dedicated group of parents, students, and staff provides volunteer assistance for music classes, concerts, and community events.

RHYTHM also raises funds to support expanded educational opportunities, such as travel scholarships, equipment, and uniform needs for these talented students.

Support of the Dinner & Dance Auction entitles a business to publicity in the auction catalog. The goal this year is to raise over $2,000. Please call the numbers listed below to make a cash, goods, or services donation to this excellent cause. Advance ticket donations are $15 for a couple and $10 for a single and may be purchased from Duvall and Carnation designated businesses, as well as Cedarcrest High School by calling 425-788-5763, ext. 1632, or reserve your tickets at the door by calling 425-788-5763 until March 22.

A donation includes a gourmet pasta and salad dinner, live music by Larry Prig and the Resurrected Swing Band, door prizes, and silent and live auctions throughout the evening. Tickets at the door will be for dance and auction only.

This is expected to be a popular and exciting night out in the Snoqualmie Valley for couples and singles high school age and up so get your tickets while they are still available.

The Riverview Educational Foundation is a registered non-profit organization that raises private funds and provides grant opportunities to teacher, student, and parent partnerships in the Riverview School District.
