Benefit auction at Cherry Valley Elementary

   The fifth grade parents and students at Cherry Valley Elementary and the senior class of Cedarcrest High School in Duvall are hosting a live and silent auction this Friday night, March 19, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Cherry Valley Elementary gymnasium. The auction will feature Duvall's Stan Chapman as auctioneer.

   Many items have been generously donated by families and businesses. There will be a basket raffle this year and concessions will be available.

   Auction items include Mariners tickets, Sounders tickets, an autographed hockey stick from the Seattle Thunderbirds, a hands-on helicopter ride, radio advertising for your business, Whirlpool jetted-tub, bar sink, insta-hot, kitchen sink, theater tickets, automotive services, household items, gift certificates to area restaurants, fitness classes, hair and nail services, a load of gravel, one ton of hay, golf, software, and much more.

   Proceeds will help provide scholarships for those 5th graders who need help financing outdoor education camp at Camp Orkila on Orcas Island in May.
