The Herbfarm Restaurant to take summer reservations

   Thursday, April 1, is the day The Herbfarm Restaurant will begin accepting reservations for its summer seatings at a temporary location in Hedges Cellars' barrel-aging room in Issaquah. Dinners, which are served most Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will begin in June.

   Reservations for the nine-course dinners have gone quickly in the past. "Historically, the spring reservation day has been the busiest," says Herbfarm owner Ron Zimmerman. "Our eight reservation lines are pushed to the limit, and the available seats often book within hours of opening the phone lines. Callers are likely to get busy signals, or even an "all circuits are busy" message. But if you keep trying, we'll probably be able to find you a nice spot."

   The Herbfarm specializes in the seasonal and regional fare of the Pacific Northwest. A different thematic menu is pre-selected and matched to five Northwest wines (or non-alcoholic herbal brews).
