SEPAC meeting

   Northshore's Special Education Parents Advisory Council (SEPAC) will host a presentation on "Learning Strategies and Corrective Reading Pilot Program" on March 24 from 7-9 p.m. at Anderson Cafeteria, 18603 Bothell Way NE, Bothell. For additional information, call 489-6000.

Searching for heron nests

   King County Parks will offer the opportunity to visit heron nests during the height of nesting season on March 27 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Participants will see nests up to 130 feet high in the trees and learn viewing techniques that will not disturb the birds in their nests. The interpretive program is co-sponsored by the East Lake Washington Audubon Society and is most appropriate for adults and children ages 10 and up. Meet at the Kenmore Park & Ride at 9:30 a.m. Call (206) 296-4171 for directions and to reserve your spot.

Blood drive

   A blood drive will be held March 31 at Vixel, 11911 North Creek Parkway South in Bothell from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a break from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
