Easter children's musical

   Fall City United Methodist Church is presenting "Some Kind of Happenin's Happenin' in Jerusalem," an Easter children's musical on Palm Sunday, March 28, at 4 and 7:30 p.m. Three Snoqualmie Valley churches will be represented. This 45-minute production is full of singing, dancing, and excitement. For more information, call Lori Martinell at 222-7470.

Gravel pit meeting

   A meeting will be held on the proposed Duvall Rock Company quarry on April 6, 7 p.m. at the Cherry Gardens Community Club at the corner of Cherry Valley Road and Kelly Road, five miles east of Duvall. All concerned parties are invited to attend.

Cedarcrest parent conference night

   Cedarcrest High School parent conference night is set for Thursday, Mar. 25 from 5-8 p.m. All teachers will be available for individual conferences with parents regarding students' progress in class. Progress reports will be available.

Dinner, dance, auction

   A gourmet dinner, with music by Larry Prig & the Resurrected Swing Band, door prizes, and a live and silent auction are set for Friday, March 26, 7 p.m. at Cedarcrest High School. This is a RHYTHM (Riverview Helping Youth to Have Music) special event. Dinner tickets are available at Cedarcrest at 788-7116, ext. 1632. Tickets at the door are for dance and auction only.

Dance company at Cedarcrest

   The Arts Onstage series will be presenting its second performance, Kaleidoscope, on Sunday, April 25, 2 p.m. at the performing arts center at Cedarcrest High School in Duvall. A "Northwest treasure," Kaleidoscope is a modern repertory dance company of young artists. Tickets are available by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to Duvall Arts, P.O. Box 1043, Duvall, WA 98019; at Gardens and SunSpaces on Main Street (788-9844); or at the door. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $5 for youth and seniors. Children under five are free, ticket required.

Carnation's July 4th needs volunteers

   The Carnation Fourth of July Committee is looking for volunteers to help organize the Fourth of July festivities in Carnation. Both a fundraising chairman and entertainment chairman are needed. The committee currently meets for one hour on the first Thursday of every month at the Carnation Fire Station meeting room at 7 p.m. For more information, call 333-5053.

Easter Egg hunt

   An Easter Egg hunt will be held on Saturday, April 3, 1 p.m. at Cherry Valley Elementary School. Open to all ages. Bring your own baskets.

Plant donations wanted for plant sale

   The Duvall Civic Club is looking for plant donations for their May 8 plant sale. They would gratefully accept perennials, tubers, bulbs, small shrubs, vegetables, herbs, and flower starts and other plants. They have free pots and will even dig plants up for those who wish to donate. Now is the best time to divide and move plants. Call Sue for help or for more information at 788-7965.
