Easter egg hunts, parades

   The Woodinville Lions will hold their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 3 at the Mt. View Community Center, 19002 NE 168th St., just south of Leota Junior High behind Mack's Corner. The big Easter Bunny will arrive via a Woodinville Fire & Life Safety engine at 11 a.m. sharp. Free candy will be given out, and the egg hunting will be divided into three different age groups.    The Easter Bunny will take photos and visit with kids at the Redmond Town Center through April 3. Also, join the Easter Bunny, Pinky and The Brain, Michigan J. Frog, and the Nile Shrine Circus Clowns for a non-competitive Easter Scavenger Hunt on April 3 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Center Street Plaza. Most activities are free. Second Story Repertory and Sprouts Theatre will present "Bunny Tales" on stage in the Center Street Plaza on Saturday, April 3 at noon. For information on any of these events, call (425) 867-0808.

   The Snohomish Chamber of Commerce will host its 17th annual old-fashioned Easter Parade and Easter Bonnet Contest on Saturday, April 2 beginning at 11 a.m. In related activities, an Easter Egg Hunt for children, 8 and under, will be held at Pilchuck Park at 9 a.m. Children will be divided into age groups.    Peter Cottontail will be on hand for photos and to pass out candy at a free Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Northshore YMCA and Bothell Parks and Rec on Saturday, April 3 at 10 a.m. at Westhill Elementary,19515 88th Ave. NE, Bothell. There wil be different areas for each age group, infants to 6th grade. Families should provide their own baskets for collecting eggs and candy.    Bring a basket and visit with the Easter Bunny at the fourth annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 3 at 9 a.m. at the Maltby Community Park, 20322 Broadway, Maltby. Each age group will have its own area. Call (360) 794-5912.

   Children can search for pastel colored eggs among the chickens, ducks, and bunnies at Country Village on Saturday, April 3 at 9:30 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. The hunts will be done in age categories. For information, call (425) 483-2250.

   Bastyr University Student Council presents its first Easter Egg Hunt for children, 2 to 11 years old, on Saturday, April 3 at noon, rain or shine. The university is located at 14500 Juanita Dr. NE in Kenmore. For more information, call Jasmine at (425) 820-2046.

   Washington Cathedral, 12300 Woodinville-Redmond Rd. NE, will hold Easter Egg Hunts for children on April 1 and 2 at 6 p.m. and April 3 at 4:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 4 at 1:45 p.m. Call (425) 869-5433.
