Kenmore kicks off its "Courtesy is Contagious" campaign on Friday, April 2. Merchant reader boards will display the message, and self-adhesive cling-ons will be on citizens' vehicles and local store windows.
In traffic on the streets, on sidewalks when entering or leaving a building, in the office or in the home, Kenmore wants to encourage everyone to be courteous to each other and to re-establish good manners as part of the city's character and as individuals. The readers are invited to participate.
The cling-ons promoting courtesy are available in Kenmore at the City Hall, Safeway, Ostrom Drugs, and at Mikey's, free of charge.
