Literacy volunteers needed

   Eastside Literacy Council, a non-profit organization, is recruiting volunteers to work with adult students throughout the Snoqualmie Valley. Classes are offered for students in North Bend, Fall City, Carnation, Duvall, and Woodinville. Training, tutor support, and help in lesson planning is provided. There is a wide variety of tutoring options available, ranging in time commitment from once a month to twice a week. For details, call 844-2459.

Calling all Camp Sealth alumni

   Camp Fire Boys and Girls invites all former campers and staff of Camp Sealth on Vashon Island to a reunion Saturday, May 8 featuring fun activities and an evening program around the campfire. Calling all gardeners

   The Spice of Life at Country Village is providing land for gardeners who want to grow vegetables, herbs, or flowers, but do not have the space or sun in their own yard. Gardeners will provide their own gloves and tools. The Spice of Life is located in the Village in the green and white train car. Call the shop for details at (425) 481-5444.
