"The Indoor Playground provides young children with social interactions while exercising their large motor skills," explains Family Center coordinator Maria Fuller. "It also provides parents and caregivers who accompany their children to the Playground the chance to connect, socialize, and share information with each other."
The Playground will operate every Wednesday and Friday morning from 9 a.m. to noon (except school holidays) through the end of June. All are invited to participate. No pre-registration is required. A donation of $1 per child per session is requested.
"The way we are able to keep costs so low is by relying on volunteers," Fuller says. She encourages anyone who would like to get involved or who wants more information to contact her at 788-7924.
