The family then resided on a farm which is now the Van Hulle farm. In 1921, they moved one-half mile south of Duvall. Some might still remember her as a young girl delivering milk and cream to residents in Duvall with the help of a former circus pony and wagon.
In 1929, she married Ranie Rupard and they lived for two years in a logging camp in Aberdeen. They then moved to a small farm on the River Road in Duvall. After her husband's death, she returned to the Hible residence where she spent her remaining years. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Shirley and Robert Wolkens, Kirkland; and son and daughter-in-law Sam and Marilyn Rupard of Duvall. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held April 3 at the Duvall Methodist Church; burial at Monroe IOOF Cemetery.
