Family Center grand opening is April 22

Children's Services of Sno-Valley will celebrate the grand opening of its new Family Center in Duvall on Thursday, April 22 from 4-6:30 p.m. with an event that features both children's entertainment and dignitaries. County Executive Ron Sims will be the keynote speaker at the ribbon cutting ceremony, planned for 5:30 p.m.

Children will enjoy puppet shows provided by James the Puppeteer, an appearance by the Stillwater Skippers jump rope team and displays of tops, kites and action figures. A wandering magician will also be on site. Food and drink will be provided and children will be able to try out the play equipment now in use at the Family Center's indoor playground program.

"All interested are warmly invited to stop by, see what Children's Services of Sno-Valley is now offering for children and families and hear about our plans for the future," said Marie Fuller, Family Center coordinator.
