Cedarcrest participates in blood drive
Cedarcrest Leadership Class organized a very successful blood drive campaign on April 12. The goal was 65 donors. Joe Van Nausdle, student coordinator, and Karen Merkel, Leadership Advisor, and all the Leadership Committee helped 78 volunteers overcome any anxiety and gave blood to the Puget Sound Blood Center and Program. Their efforts helped over 200 patients in Western Washington. Over 50 percent were first-time donors to the blood program. This blood drive was the first since 1996 and was a great success.
