Local band at Main Street Music

   The Roadhouse Jukes, a local band playing jazz/blues, will be performing at Main Street Music from 1-4 p.m. at the store during Duvall Days, May 15. Performers include Mark Oslund, Chris Ferguson, and Pete Hutson. Their website is at http://home1.gte.net/jdemilee/index.htm.

Ladies golf league begins

   The Thursday night ladies golf league at Tall Chief Golf Course is starting on May 20. All skill levels are welcome, and there are fun weekly competitions. Call Georgette Cano at 425-497-8149 or Janet Kellie at 425-788-7367.

Grand opening at Quadrant Homes

   Quadrant Homes will introduce Big Rock, its latest new home community, on May 14 and 15 with a grand opening celebration from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Big Rock is located at 13827 282nd Ct. NE, Duvall, one mile up Big Rock Road.

Family Night of the Arts

   Carnation Elementary PTSA will be sponsoring the 1st Annual Family Night of the Arts on Thursday, May 13, from 6:30-8 p.m. The evening will include an exhibition of student artwork, live classical music, and dessert (tea by Rosebud's and cake by Albertson's). All proceeds will benefit art education at Carnation Elementary.

Junior football registration

   The Sno-Valley Junior Football Association has scheduled registration for the upcoming football season all day at Duvall Days on Saturday, May 15. Coaches will be available during registration to answer questions. The first practice of the season will be Aug. 16. For further information, contact Lyle Diediker at 333-6252.
