'Number One Fun Raiser' to feature noted auctioneer Kip Toner

Children's Services of Sno-Valley's annual dinner and auction--billed as "The Snoqualmie Valley's Number One Fun Raiser"--this year will feature the services of one of the nation's premier professional auctioneers, Kip Toner, principal of Kip Toner Benefit Auctions.

The Toner firm provides its services to hundreds of fund raising auctions in the region and nationally each year, including the prestigious PONCHO auction, which raises millions of dollars for the arts. Toner himself will be the auctioneer for the Children's Services of Sno-Valley event, which will take place Saturday, June 26, at Mountain Meadows Farm in North Bend.

"While I've helped sell thousands of dollars of goods and services to Snoqualmie Valley residents at auctions outside the Valley, I've never before had the pleasure of meeting these benefactors on their home turf," Toner noted. "Children's Services of Sno-Valley enjoys a high level of support locally and there is quite a bit of enthusiasm for this event, which I understand very much lives up to its billing."

Toner commented that he is looking forward to being part of the fun and helping Children's Services of Sno-Valley meets its ambitious goals in support of the programs it provides.

The theme for this year's auction is "Wrangler Rendevous," which will be carried out in Western-themed decorations, some unique cowboy-oriented auction prizes, and in the Western garb attendees will be encouraged to wear.

Event tickets are $40. Reservations may be made by responding to mailed invitations, or by calling CSSV at 425-888-2777.
