Chilly weather, but lots of fun

The old joke about the first Duvall Days Festival goes like this: The parade was so small that it had to go around the block twice, and first prize was awarded to a logging truck that just happened to be going through town.

Well, the celebration has come a long way since then. Last weekend, the 24th Annual Duvall Days Country Living Festival, hosted by the city and Chamber of Commerce, offered a fun run, entertainment, cow pie bingo, a frog jumping contest, benefit aerobathon, a firefighters' challenge, and of course, the kids' and Grande Parades.
