   May 1: Close to midnight, officers responded to a threats complaint at a business on Main St. The suspect and victim had a verbal altercation that ended with the suspect telling the victim that he would not survive a physical encounter with him. The victim left the business and called the police. Officers were unable to contact the suspect that evening but found him later. Charges for the threats have been filed.

   May 3: At about 9 p.m., police were called to a verbal disturbance in the Kerry Rae neighborhood. The family has been going through some rough times and needed to vent some anger. Police were called to prevent the argument from escalating.

   May 6: At about 2 p.m., an officer was called to Cedarcrest High School to investigate a harassment complaint. Officers advised both students and their respective parents about harassment laws and provided information about court orders and other means of dispute resolution.

   May 7: Early in the morning, a Park Apartments resident noticed his vehicle had been prowled overnight and some tools taken.

   May 9: Officers recovered some of the property stolen during the May 7 car prowl. The property was identified and returned to the owner.
