   Natalie Price was one of five swimmers at Central Washington University to be qualified for NCAA Nationals.

   Darcy Watson of Woodinville and Shannon Riley of Bothell were both performers in Central Washington University's Cosi Fan Tutte.

   Local student Noelle Trolio is among the four Central Washington University students who make up the KCWU radio station management team for Central Washington University.

   Benjamin Gilbert, graduate of Bothell Senior High School, is the opinion editor for the Whitman College Pioneer.

   Sabrina Burke completed a semester in Madrid, Spain, through Syracuse University's Division of International Programs Abroad.

   Ryan Casperson from Woodinville was one of 28 students at Lewis and Clark College participating in an overseas program to Ireland.

   Nathan Adams, attending Lake Washington Technical College, has been nominated for the All-Washington Team.

   Christopher Keeler and David Robinson both made the Scholastic Honor Roll Winter term at Oregon State University for recieving a 3.5 GPA or better.

   Jeremy Klosterman of Woodinville was on the second-term Dean's List at Northwest Nazarene College.

   The following students attending Central Washington University have qualified for the winter quarter 1999 honor roll: Kristine Mathers, Mark Rice, Nicole Trolio, Sean Gossett, Valerie Prentice, Laura Figler, Darcy Watson, Natalie Tilton, Jennifer Blanken, Kelly Mellinger, Jennifer Evans, Joele Whitescarver, Marissa Roberts, and Andrea Oestreich.

   Sarah Beran, a Claremont McKenna College senior from Woodinville, has been awarded the Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship to study at Chengchi National University in Taipei, Taiwan, for a full academic year.

   Elizabeth Schmied of Woodinville recieved an honor scholarship from Washington State University of $500 for the 1999-2000 academic year.

   The following Washington State University students from western Washington were invited to join Phi Eta Sigma national honor society: Alicia Borm, Sabrina Khan, Brie O'Leyar, Ryan Overland, Svetlana Tarasov, and Melisa Shelton.

   The following students were named to the Western Washington University honor roll at the completion of winter quarter 1999: Bothell, 4.0 GPA--Selina Easton, Rachel Gaines, Jennifer Wilkin; Honor Roll--Dominic Chiarelli, Emily Dodd, Robert Harding, Scott Litzkow, Brooks Low, Ryan Masters, Brett Mitchell, Heidi Schiller, Brenna Thomas.
