Kenmore Heritage Society opens charter membership campaign

The Kenmore Heritage Society (KHS) is extending an invitation to interested Kenmore and Northshore residents to become charter members of the newly-formed organization.

Anyone joining before Aug. 31 will be eligible for charter member status. Membership chairman Patsy Telquist explains that charter members receive a special certificate and have their names inscribed on a plaque.

Membership dues are structured for individuals, families, seniors, business/professional, and patrons on an annual basis. There is also an option for a one-time paid life membership.

Everyone is invited to the next KHS meeting to be held Wednesday, June 2 at 7 p.m. at the Kenmore fire station located at 73rd Ave. NE and NE 181st. For further information, call Tom Traeger, president, at (425) 488-2818.
