June events at Molbak's

   June happenings at Molbak's begin with a seminar on Vertical Gardening, Friday, June 4 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Participants will learn which vines are best for walls, fences, anchors, and trellises.

   Ciscoe Morris's favorite plants will be revealed Saturday, June 5 at 9 a.m. He will showcase perennials, herbs, shrubs, and trees.

   Water Gardening: Growing Aquatic Plants in Ponds or Containers will be held Friday, June 18 at 6 p.m. The best plants for aboveground containers, small pools, and ponds will be covered.

   Plants for Ponds, Bogs, and Soggy Places will be presented Friday, June 18 at 7:30 p.m.

   Learn how to attract butterflys by planting specific plants in the garden on Saturday, June 19 at 9 a.m.

   King County master recyclers/composters will answer compost questions on Saturday, June 5 and June 19 from 10 a.m. to noon.

   Learn how to fertilize, grow, and overwinter fuchsias for long-lasting blooms on Saturday, June 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

   Participants will discover how to enhance their hair color with fresh garden herbs on Saturday, June 10 from 7 a.m. to noon in the Garden Plants Department.
