New Eagle Scout

Jeffrey L. Stanislawski, 13, son of Ralph and Sandra Stanislawski, and brother of Lisa, achieved Boys Scout's highest rank, Eagle Scout, on Feb. 2.

Jeffrey's Eagle project was designing, planning, obtaining donated materials, and supervising the construction of The Reading Circle at the Woodinville Public Library for those who like to read outside during nice weather.

An 8th grader at Timbercrest Junior High, Jeffrey is an honor roll student with a 4.0 GPA and is a member of the Math Team, Science Olympiad, Game Club, and Tennis Team at his school. He has received many awards throughout his school years from various competitions and programs.

In addition to school work, he likes video games, computer work, sports, and music. Jeffrey wants to attend the University of Washington and become a scientist. An American flag was flown over the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. on May 4 in honor of Jeffrey's birthday.

Members of Boy Scout Troop 422, his former Cub Scout Troop 525, his family, and friends celebrated his Eagle Scout Award at a Court of Honor on June 5 at the Woodinville United Church of Christ.
