Northshore girls are state gymnastics champs

   At the recent State Championship meet held May 22 at Issaquah High School, Northshore Gymnastics Center (NGC) in Woodinville came away with three Level 5 State Champions.

   Rebecca Mack, 8, from Woodinville, a third grader at East Ridge Elementary, won first place all-around in the 8 and under age division with a score of 34.825.

   Allison Gotz, 9, from Bothell, a fourth grader at St. Brendan's, won first place all-around in the 9-year-old age division with a score of 35.125; and Kelsey McDermid, 10, from Woodinville, a fourth grader at East Ridge Elementary, placed first all-around in the 10-year-old age division with a score of 35.825.

   All three girls are coached by Jen Huffman and Alia McCall. They competed against 182 girls from all over the State. The NGC Level 5 team also placed first.
