Duvall and King County sponsor Responsible Pet Owner Week

The Duvall Police Department and King County Animal Control will jointly sponsor a community outreach and education program on responsible pet ownership the week of June 21-25 from 4-8 p.m. in the incorporated areas of Duvall.

Officers from both organizations will jointly canvass homes of citizens to distribute materials on responsible pet ownership, city ordinances, and animal control regulations, as well as local animal control services available through King County Animal Control. Additionally, officers will be available to license pets and respond to citizen questions.

All dogs and cats that reside in the city of Duvall must be licensed. The price of a license for a spayed or neutered dog or cat is $15 per year. For information regarding this program, please contact the Duvall Police Department at 788-1519.
