Schools receive grants for arts programs

Shandorfs are "special folks" for children

Jerry and Mary ShandorfJerry and Mary Shandorf are well-known and appreciated in the Northshore School District. For several years, they have volunteered their time, van, and gas to the Sorenson Early Childhood Education program and other Northshore schools.

First Bear Creek Fun Run a success

Bear Creek Fun RunBear Creek Elementary students held their their first fun run, sponsored by the Bear Creek PTA. Over $7,000 was raised by the students, who asked sponsors for donations in return for their participation.
