Katie Norman honored for volunteer efforts

Katie Norman of Woodinville was recently honored with a Girl Scouts' Appreciation Pin award for her hard work, dedication, and commitment to helping young girls grow courageous and strong.

The Appreciation Pin award recognizes an adult who has delivered outstanding service to one or more geographic divisions in the council, beyond the expectations of their volunteer positions, helping to further Totem Council's goals. Norman is one of seven recipients of the award this year.

Norman was presented with the Appreciation Pin for her energy, enthusiasm, and dedication to the Girl Scout community. A Girl Scout of 22 years, she has lent her talents and skills to many projects over the year.

Norman has been involved in Council fundraising activities, including the Family Partnership Project, served as a service unit manager and as an association chair.
