Openings available on boards

   Bothell residents interested in serving on a volunteer advisory board have four open positions to consider.

   The landmark preservation board has two partial terms available, one concluding on December 31, 2003, and one ending on Dec. 31, 2001. This advisory board conserves the city's historic resources and serves as a resource for historic planning and preservation. The board meets on the third Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

   The library advisory board has one full term available, which concludes Dec. 31, 2004. It meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:15 p.m. in the Bothell Library.

   The Parks and Recreation Board has one partial term open, which will end Dec. 31, 2001. The Parks and Recreation Board advises the City Council regarding the expansion and operation of the city's park and recreation facilities and programs. It meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m.
