She was born March 11, 1945 in Bellingham. She graduated from Bellingham High School in 1963 with honors and was a member of the band. She graduated from Washington State University in 1967 with a bachelors degree in mathematics and education. Vicki was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She earned her masters degree in computer science from Lesley College in Seattle. She taught math for 14 years at Lake Stevens Middle School and was a library media specialist for three years at Kellogg Middle School in Shoreline.
Some of her special interests included computers, golfing, skiing, reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time at the family cabin in Kingston.
Survivors include her son, Christopher Young of Seattle; daughter, Cyndee Young of Seattle; parents, Martin and Betty Addicott of Bellingham; brother, Rick Selhaver of Everson; sisters, Marta Schellberg and husband, Ken, of Edmonds and Kristi Carpenter and husband, Dean, of Bellingham; mother-in-law, Helen Young Snider of Sumner; brother-in-law, Bobby McMurray, of Everson; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

He is survived by his parents Frank and June Watkins of Carnation; sisters, Wendy Holen and husband Ollie of Carnation, Lori Olczyk of Wenatchee; brothers Tim of Nevada, David and his wife, Lisa, of Carnation. Rick also leaves two nephews, three nieces; grandmother Laura Gould of Seattle.
Rick was preceded in death by his brother, Joe, in 1982.
