Cedarcrest grad earns WSU scholarships

   PULLMAN--Megan D. van Tassel of Duvall has received several scholarships from Washington State University for the 1999-2000 academic year. She was given a $2,000 University Achievement Award, a $1,000 University Scholar-in- Residence Award, a $750 Alumni Association Leadership, and a $250 Partners in Prevention Award.

   Van Tassel is a 1999 graduate of Cedarcrest High School and plans to study apparel merchandising at WSU. She is the daughter of Larry and Katherine van Tassel of Duvall.

Gray on Dean's List at Wisconsin Lutheran

   Sarah Gray, a junior at Wisconsin Lutheran College, has been named to the Dean's List for the 1998-99 spring semester. She achieved honors, which signifies a grade point average of 3.60-3.74. Gray is the daughter of Gary and Mary Gray of Carnation. Wisconsin Lutheran is an independent liberal arts college located on the west side of Milwaukee.
