Area artist to exhibit at Pacific Northwest Arts Fair

Lisa Sheets' Awakening was selected to be part of the fine arts exhibit at this year's arts fair in Bellevue.

Awakening, a collage print by Woodinville artist Lisa Sheets, will be one of the works exhibited at the 53rd Pacific Northwest Arts Fair to be held July 23-25 in downtown Bellevue on the west side of Bellevue Square on the corner of NE 8th and Bellevue Way.

From 1,200 artists who applied to take part in the arts fair, 325 were accepted. They staff the booths and are chosen for the quality, creativity, and uniqueness of their creations. Works range from handmade paper to blown glass, and from metal sculptures to painted silk clothing.

Other events at the arts fair include a Kidsfair, performing artists, artist demonstrations, free museum admission, a preview party, hands-on activities for families, art exhibitions, and a food court.

Hours for the fair are Friday and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free. For additional information, call (425) 454-3322, ext. 125, or visit the website at
