Clines celebrate 50th Wedding Anniversary

Woodinville residents Don and Toni Cline celebrated 50 years of marriage July 18 at the Hollywood Schoolhouse with their many friends and family. The couple first met on a blind date at a Christmas dance at the Olympic Hotel in 1947 and were married July 23, 1949.

Their first home was a 12 by 24-foot log-style cabin at Lake Stickney that had no electricity, phone, or sewer. Subsequently, the Clines, with their three children, Bruce, Susie, and Patty, lived in North Seattle, Lake City, and Burien.

Three years ago, following retirement and RV trips around the country, the couple moved to their dream home in Woodinville.
