Martial arts celebration benefits Make A Wish Foundation

   The Jungyae Moosul Academy of Woodinville will be hosting their second-year anniversary celebration on Saturday, July 24, from noon to 4 p.m. in the Woodinville Shopping Plaza at 14039 NE Woodinville-Duvall Road. All proceeds will be donated to the Make A Wish Foundation. The day's events will include martial arts demonstrations, games and prizes, face painting, refreshments, and more. The mayor of Woodinville, Don Broche, will be launching the dunk tank festivities, and there will be a raffle of goods and services donated by the business community. Redhooks beat West Seattle Marlins

   In Over-40 Baseball action last week, the Woodinville Redhooks beat the first-place West Seattle Marlins, 4-2. The Redhooks scored 3 runs in the first inning and then held on during a seventh-inning charge by the Marlins. The win puts the Redhooks in contention for a playoff spot.
